CLOSE-QUARTERS MANEUVERING / DOCKING

Holding Station – an essential skill
All clients begin training outside the marina – in open water free of hazards. Waiting even a few minutes for fuel or pump out dock space, slip assignment, crew to hang fenders and ready dock lines—even for an inexperienced boater to get out of the way?

Do so with confidence, patience and no white knuckles!

Master the approach
Bow-to and Stern-to approaches focusing upon Clear & Concise Communication and teamwork.

High quality, hands-free two-way wireless connected headsets provided.

ANCHORING WITH CONFIDENCE

Develop a thorough understanding, open up new overnight locations + gain independence from expensive or difficult to secure marina moorage.

LINE HANDLING/INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED MANEUVERING SKILLS

Wind pushing you onto a dock? Other boats too close ahead and astern? Short-handed or inexperienced crew? Frustrated with Mooring Ball operations?

Master ‘Springing-On,’ ‘Springing-Off,’ even how to safely make use of help from a non-boating friend or teen crew member!

Experienced with most major manufacturers, Captain Mark brings a life-time of boating experience with both sail, power, and multi-hull experience to 80’ LOA. Let’s get you comfortable managing fuel, electrical, fresh & black water systems.
