Life Aboard a Yacht

Think of a yacht as your personal private island, with accommodations rivaling a luxury vacation rental.   Explore new places every day with absolute freedom, whenever you  like.  Eat, play, and relax in your floating vacation home!

Your yacht will have a galley (kitchen) with stove, oven, sink, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, dish soap and dish towels. Captain Mark will provision the galley with food and beverages of your choosing.  You can enjoy the camaraderie of preparing group meals together onboard, or go ashore and sample the cuisine at local restaurants.

The main salon is a fun place to hang out and socialize.  Most salons have an open concept floor plan next to the galley, so you may cook, eat and drink with your shipmates.

You will sleep in private staterooms on comfortable beds with linens, blankets, bath and beach towels provided; private bathroom & shower on most vessels.

On deck, you can sit on the comfortable cockpit benches or lay on the deck to catch some rays. Shade on deck may be provided by canvas biminis (awnings).

The yacht will come with a gasoline powered tender (dinghy) for shore excursions while at anchor – shore is never far!

Please note that internet and mobile phone signals can be spotty at sea; some carriers are more effective than others. The yacht will be equipped with a marine VHF radio for communicating with other vessels.

What to bring on your vacation:

  • Sun screen, hat, light jacket for cooler evenings or breezy sailing conditions, and an appetite for fun and amazing scenery!
  • Swim wear, cover ups, water tolerant shoes for walks on shore, a water bottle, plenty of sunscreen, a personal supply of adult beverages, and a smile!
